Eating well is not innate and that we eat every day is linked to our habits, our lifestyles, our tastes. Diet and physical activity are both pleasures of life and essential key to maintaining good health or recovery. Today, it is in fact scientifically established that "eating well" and "good move" are protective factors against cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity.
A Swedish study published Aug. 21 in the journal Circulation confirms the protective effect of fruit consumption on the occurrence of aneurysms of the abdominal aorta.
Dr. Otto Stackelberg and colleagues at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and Uppsala University have divided the participants into four groups based on their daily intake of fruit. Thus, participants consuming the equivalent of more than two medium-sized fruit per day had 25% less risk of aneurysm than those who took less than 5 fruits per week.
The risk of aneurysm rupture down 44% with three fruit consumed per day. For cons, the authors of the study say that the vegetables would have no influence on the aneurysm. But their use is strongly recommended.
In France, only 42.8% of adults and 20% of children 3 to 17 years regularly consume fruits and vegetables per day. The price, especially fruits and vegetables, the time and expertise required to prepare the brakes are acting out.
